The media fraternity is mourning the sudden loss of KTN Swahili anchor Ahmed Darwesh who died on Monday at Mater Hospital, after being immobilised by diabetes earlier in the day.

Journalists from various media houses paid tribute to Darwesh, popularly referred to as Daru, with many highlighting how humourous, humble and generous the anchor was.
